CVMC has now delivered over 30,000 vaccine doses to members of the Central Vermont community.
“We’re all in, every day,” says Director of Primary Care Operations Barbara Quealy, RN, MBA, MSN of the Covid Vaccine Hub team, where CVMC recently delivered its 30,000th dose.
When the high-volume hub opened on March 3, Quealy and the leadership team made it clear to the staff that their goal was not just to give shots.
“Our collective mission and commitment was to bring hope to our community,” says Quealy.

Vaccine Hub Medical Director Sarah Davies, MD has worked with Quealy to lead every major outpatient service expansion supporting CVMC’s Covid-19 response effort.
“This past year has obviously brought a lot of challenges to everybody in a lot of different ways,” says Davies. “And it feels really good to be involved in this vaccine hub – closing that Covid circle and moving past this.”
