At Central Vermont Medical Center, our Endocrinology medical group practice works with patients with injuries or disorders of the internal (endocrine) glands.

Endocrinology deals with the endocrine system and gland disorders. We treat the following common endocrine and gland conditions:

  • Internal (endocrine) glands, such as thyroid, adrenal glands and pituitary

  • Metabolic disorders including diabetes, polycystic ovary disease and osteoporosis

  • Diabetes, including advanced technologies of insulin pump treatment and continuous glucose monitoring

  • Menstrual and gonadal problems

  • FNA (Fine needle aspiration) - A simple procedure that provides specific information about a nodule so treatment options can be made.
