Tobacco Cessation Workshop

Quitting smoking or smokeless tobacco is the #1 most important step you can take to live a longer and healthier life. For many tobacco users, support from others makes the difference in staying tobacco-free. This free, four-week workshop can help you change your behavior and start a tobacco-free lifestyle. High Blood Pressure Management Workshop

One in 4 Vermont adults has been told they have high blood pressure. High blood pressure means the force of blood flowing through your blood vessels is consistently too high. If left untreated, it can damage your circulatory system and lead to serious problems, such as heart attack, stroke, kidney damage, or brain health complications, such as memory loss and confusion. Learn the basics of managing blood pressure including help with medication, quitting tobacco, healthy eating, and physical activity and managing stress. LEARN MORE >

Diabetes Prevention Workshop

Are you carrying extra weight? This free program can cut your risk of type 2 diabetes by more than half. A trained coach leads the program to help you change certain aspects of your lifestyle, like eating healthier, reducing stress, and getting more physical activity. You will also receive group support from others who share your goals and struggles. This program is designed for people who are at risk for type 2 diabetes, but who do not already have the disease. Participants must have a BMI of 25 or greater to enroll. LEARN MORE >

Diabetes Management Workshop

Learn and have fun with others who have type 2 diabetes in this free, small group workshop designed to help you improve your eating habits, wellness routines and coping skills. People who complete the workshop say they see big improvements, like eating better, feeling less depressed, and having a better relationship with their doctors.
