All Grief Support Groups are open to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. There is no fee. We focus on learning together about coping with grief, with the intention of receiving and offering support through the sharing of personal grief experiences.

Opioid Addiction Education Group for Families

Addiction doesn’t exist in a vacuum.

When a friend or family member is struggling with a substance use disorder, you and your family may struggle also. You may be trying your best to offer support, but may feel at a loss as to how to be most helpful.

You are not alone, as many community members are dealing with these same issues. Come join members of the CVMC Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) team as we share information, support, and guidance.

A free monthly support group for family and friends of individuals with a mental illness. Participants talk frankly about their challenges and help one another by sharing learned wisdom and coping strategies. All meetings facilitated by trained NAMI family members.

Diabetes Prevention Program

4:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Are you carrying extra weight? This free program can cut your risk of type 2 diabetes by more than half.

A trained coach leads the program to help you change certain aspects of your lifestyle, like eating healthier, reducing stress, and getting more physical activity. You will also receive group support from others who share your goals and struggles. 

This program is designed for people who are at risk for type 2 diabetes, but who do not already have the disease. Participants must have a BMI of 25 or greater to enroll.
