About the Branches of Hope Fund

When you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, you find hope in unexpected places. The compassion of your caregivers and your community gives you hope that you will make your way to the light at the end of the tunnel. And when a cancer diagnosis means your income is reduced but your expenses are not, hope comes from the offer to pay a bill, fill a tank or put groceries on the table.

That’s what Central Vermont Medical Center’s Branches of Hope Fund does for our community members who are dealing with cancer. Established in 2010, the fund helps individuals and families with both routine and unexpected expenses related to housing, transportation, medical services and much more. Sometimes the small grant enables the person to complete treatment. Sometimes it helps the person sleep at night. Always, it gives hope.

One-hundred percent of the Branches of Hope Fund directly supports the needs of individuals and families receiving cancer care.
