Becker’s Hospital Review named CVMC to its “100 Great Community Hospitals” list for 2016. The monthly publication is the preeminent source of cutting-edge business and legal information for health care industry leaders. The Becker’s editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on rankings and awards from various quality organizations. CVMC earned recognition from two of these important groups. The Leapfrog Group awarded the medical center an “A” Hospital Safety Score in April. The group grades hospitals on their success in keeping patients safe from infections, injuries, and medical and medication errors. iVantage Health Analytics also recently named CVMC a 2016 “Top U.S. Rural & Community Hospital.” The award compares hospitals nationally across a continuum of financial, value-based and market-driven indicators.
