CVMC Volunteer Marilyn White hanging tag on the CVMC Auxiliary's Love Light Tree

Marilyn White, right, and Joni Argenti hang tags on the UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center Auxiliary's Love Light Tree. They are co-chairman of the annual fundraiser, which allows people to illuminate a light in honor of a loved one for $5. Donations go towards the CVMC community and auxiliary scholarships.

Berlin, Vt. – UVM Health Network – Central Vermont Medical Center Auxiliary’s annual Love Light Tree is now on display in the hospital lobby. People are invited to come by and illuminate a light in honor of a loved one for a donation of $5. A card displaying their names will be tied to the light. Donations go towards auxiliary projects throughout the CVMC community including student scholarships. This year the auxiliary gave scholarships to 10 outstanding local high schoolers and adult learners, allowing them to pursue an education in health care.

Love lights can be purchased by visiting the CVMC website www.cvmc.org.  Click on Love Light Tree on the home page, print and fill out the form and mail it in with your check. You can also purchase love lights in the hospital gift shop during normal shop hours from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays and noon to 3:00 p.m. weekends.
