We are currently recruiting for a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for our practice in Montpelier, VT (CVMC Integrative Medicine –Montpelier). This practice is known for its integrative approach to family medicine with an in-house PhD Psychologist and acupuncture practice. The location is walking distance to downtown , which is convenient for patients and staff.
Additionally, following a national trend, CVMC will be planning for the retirement of a few of our providers and anticipate openings in 2020 and 2021. We are happy to have conversations now with candidates planning their job search with those dates in mind.
CVMC Neurology is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neurologist. Our out-patient Neurology practice specializes in epilepsy/seizure disorders, stroke, chronic headaches/ migraines, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer disease, as well as movement and neuromuscular disorders. Ideal candidate will be trained in interpretation of EEG’s and/or conducting and interpreting EMG’s.
CVMC Cardiology is recruiting for a full-time BC/BE Cardiologist. Our practice includes 4 Cardiologists and 3 Nurse Practitioners. Our providers cover the Cardiology service at CVMC and a critical access hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT. Call coverage (1:5) is solely for CVMC. This is a general cardiology practice, however includes physicians with training in EP and congenital heart disease, whom also have privileges at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
CVMC Family Psychiatry is seeking and adult or child BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our outpatient practice. Our Psychiatry practice is staffed by physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners and social workers. The practice primarily supports the patients who receive primary care in one of our 10 primary and pediatric care practices. CVMC also has 14 bed inpatient psychiatric care unit where our psychiatry staff have opportunity to cover night and weekend call.
The CVMC Hospitalist service is recruiting for a full-time BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician. Our Hospitalist admit and care for patients from our 9 primary care practices on our med/surg floors and ICU. Our staffing model utilizes geographic rounding with 10 hour day and 12 hour night shifts. A full-time physician covers 13 day and 2 night shifts per month. We have built and retained a family friendly schedule that allows for considerable flexibility that has allowed for a high retention rate.

Join a growing team focused on non-operative back health and who work collaboratively with UVMMC Spine Surgeons to offer a comprehensive service to our patients. Ideal candidates will have orthopedic and minor wound care experience. Excellent communication and patient education skills required. Will require ability to take out-patient call 2 days a week. Central Vermont Medical Center, is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Rheumatology practice. Scope of work will include general Rheumatology new patient consults for early inflammatory arthritis and osteoporosis, as well as working collaboratively with orthopedics in our Fracture Liaison Service. Candidate will be well supported by a team of three Rheumatology physicians Candidate must have a strong background in adult primary care with at least 3 years of experience. Must be able to be NP or PA licensed in Vermont and obtain a DEA certificate..
