Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of the Cardiology and Respiratory Department and the Cardiology Operations Supervisor, plans, organizes and coordinates activities of the EEG Program. Functions within the scope of practice of the Cardiology Department and the hospital policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Requires one year college level science study plus one year traineeship in EEG Technology. Certified by ASET or ABRET preferred. BLS training required.
EXPERIENCE
Three to five years experience as an EEG technician; with significant work in a clinical environment. Six
to twelve months managerial/supervisory experience.
