Community Life

Bird Houses

Longtime Woodridge resident Conrad Owens is not one to idle away his days. In addition to painting over 40 pieces of patio furniture, he built two birdhouse displays to brighten Woodridge's hallways.

Residents at Woodridge experience a vibrant community life with many activities scheduled throughout each day and plenty of special events to look forward to, such as our annual Pumpkin Glow and Arts and Crafts Fair. Residents also have the opportunity to attend fun outings to area attractions, such as the Tunbridge Fair, Groton State Forest, and Lake Champlain...not to mention our creemee runs!

We are fortunate to have a wide variety of musicians, local students and community members who come to Woodridge and share their talents, offering a variety of enriching experiences and interactions.

The quality of life for our patients is also enhanced through the contributions of dozens of dedicated volunteers who assist on a daily basis. Whether it is a friendly visit, a game of cards or as leaders to some of our great programs, our volunteers are an essential part of life at Woodridge.
