Movement for Parkinson’s

Offered for people with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers, this movement class is designed to engage participants’ minds and bodies. Through many styles of dance and energizing music we will explore stretching, strengthening muscles, postural stability, and rhythm. The class is offered in a relaxed social environment that emphasizes enjoyment, fun, and creativity, with an eye towards connecting with the community.

No dance experience required.

Grief and Loss Groups for Children

3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

The Children's Grief and Loss Support Group is sponsored by Washington County Mental Health Services. Group, individual, and parenting supports are available for youth ages 8-18 for difficulties related to grief. Participation is not limited to children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Children who have experienced losses due to parental incarceration, abandonment, termination of parental rights, or other are also welcome to access these services.
