Emergencies

Emergency situations are given immediate attention. We provide 24-hour physician coverage for emergencies. After regular office hours, call the office number, and you will be given instructions on what to do. In extreme emergencies, please call 911. When you arrive at the hospital, please identify yourself as our patient.

Prescription Policy

Our office will call your pharmacy within 24 hours for all approved refills. You may have to come to the office to pick up a written prescription. Please call during regular office hours for prescription refills, unless it is an emergency.

Test Results

We will notify you of all lab and x-ray results. If you have an appointment scheduled shortly after your test, we will go over the results with you during your office visit. We may also contact you by phone or mail. If you have not heard from us within two weeks of your test, please call our office.

Fees

Our practice requires payment at the time services are rendered. We will directly bill Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, MVP, and Cigna. We also accept cash, check, and MasterCard/Visa. We may bill other insurance companies as a courtesy to our patients; however, payment is ultimately your responsibility. We do offer a Financial Assistance Plan for those who qualify. Co-pays are due at time of service.

Upcoming Events

Everyone was very pleasant every time I was there - This is how a medical office should be run! Thank you!!

It is a pleasure dealing with Dr. Glaess and her office. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be called - my time is important too. In my opinion Dr. Glaess is very competent and I would recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Knowlton was very nice and even called me at home to let me know everything was okay and not to worry. (Something he didn't have to do.)

Dr. Vogel is a caring, kind, wonderful doctor!

Dr. Roger Ehret was pleasant and professional and took the time to answer some questions I had and made me feel like a person, not a number.

I live in Winooski and could easily transfer to a doctor's office in Burlington, but Julie (one of the nurses) and Dr. Yanowitch make me feel comfortable enough to come to Berlin. Thank you!

Dr. Knowlton and his nurse have been the utmost helpful, caring and kind people I have dealt with in a long time.
