Diabetes Self-Management Education ProgramThis four-session course in diabetes self-management is provided by Central Vermont Medical Center's Diabetes Education Team. The program provides information on nutrition, blood sugar monitoring, exercise, managing stress and preventing complications. Each session will offer presentations by diabetes educators, as well as valuable group participation and support. Individual sessions are also available.
Cost is covered by most insurance companies. Participants must call to register in advance: 371-4152. Classes are ongoing on Tuesdays, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Sessions begin the 1st Tuesday of each month
