CVMC President and CEO Judy Tarr announced that J. Arthur Gleiner, MD has joined Barre Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gleiner is a physician executive with more than 20 years of medical management experience and clinical experience and more than a decade of medical information services experience. “I am happy to be back in a community practice working directly with patients,” said Dr. Gleiner. “Barre Internal Medicine is a key component of health care in Barre.”
Prior to becoming intrigued by medical information services and how systems could improve patient care and medical outcomes, Dr. Gleiner worked at Associates in Internal Medicine in Rochester, New York.
He received his BS at The State University of New York at Buffalo and MD at The University of Kentucky School of Medicine, Lexington. Dr. Gleiner did his Internship and Residency Programs in Primary Care Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine Associated Hospitals Program.
Dr. Gleiner lives in Stowe. His interests and activities are photography, woodworking, gardening, kayaking, skiing and improving medical care.
