Mountainview Medical joins Central Vermont Medical Center | | January 28, 2009 
The Mountainview Medical team (left to right): Nicole Belanger M.D., David Ospina M.D., Marilyn Hart M.D., Ellen Fein LCSW, Peter Dale M.D., Elaine Owen, ARNP and John Valentine M.D. will continue to see patients at their current offices.
As of January 1, 2009, ownership of the Mountainview Medical practice, located on the CVMC campus, was transferred to Central Vermont Medical Center.
“For 15 years Mountainview has enjoyed providing care to central Vermonters. Now we are pleased to join together with CVMC to enhance oncology and internal medicine to our patients,” stated Dr. Valentine.
The day to day function of the office will be unchanged. Doctors John Valentine, Peter Dale, David Ospina, Marilyn Hart and Nicole Belanger with Elaine Owen, ARNP and Ellen Fein LCSW will continue to see patients at their current offices. CVMC will be assuming management of administrative and billing services.
“Mountainview Medical is an important primary care provider and the only oncology practice in central Vermont. The timing is fortuitous,” noted Judy Tarr, CVMC President and CEO. “ We are in the midst of building the The National Life Cancer Center which is scheduled to open in August of 2009. It will be a great benefit to the community to have radiation and chemotherapy available in adjoining buildings.
