Geriatric Rehabilitation

Geriatric Rehabilitation is designed to provide therapy for those elderly individuals over 65 years of age with a variety of illnesses and injuries.  

At CVMC Rehabilitation Services, our multidisciplinary team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists work closely with each patient and their family to develop goals and treatment specific to optimize a person’s functional performance to maintain  their independence and improve  their quality of life.

Goals of individualized treatment plans may be to:

• manage chronic pain
• improve mobility, balance and walking
• address memory and thinking problems
• manage everyday activities independently and safely

Our Geriatric Specialists
