Wheelchair Assessments

At CVMC Rehabilitation Services, we offer comprehensive wheelchair assessment via seating and positioning evaluation from our experienced Occupational Therapist, in conjunction with a rehab equipment specialist. We make recommendations about wheelchair and seating options specific for each client physical and social needs.  Equipment is then ordered as appropriate through a rehabilitation medical supply store.  Fitting is either performed at home with the rehab equipment specialist or during a follow up visit at the clinic.

Note:  Wheelchair and equipment reimbursement depends on individual insurances and require an appropriate medical diagnosis and doctor's order.
