CVMC offers ongoing sessions of prenatal education and birthing classes for women starting their 7th and 8th month of pregnancy.  All instructors are certified childbirth instructors.

Alive! With Song

3rd Wednesday of each month

Central Vermont’s chorus of cancer survivors and caregivers. Anyone who has been affected by cancer and likes to sing or play an instrument can participate in this upbeat group. Alive! meets monthly to share supper, stories and songs.


Belly Casting for Mothers-to-Be

Mothers-to-be have celebrated their pregnancies with belly casts made at CVMC for the past few years. We invite mothers to work with local artists to transform simple white plaster casts into lasting works of art.

Diabetes Self Management Workshop

Healing Art and Writing

Saturdays, 10:00am to Noon

In this two-hour drop-in session, we’ll explore art and writing that reduce stress. Using simple exercises, we will write, draw, and share stories that carry us through the challenges of healing. No writing or art experience necessary!

Annette Hayward, a Third Degree Reiki Practitioner, is offering 20 minute sessions. Reiki is a subtle and effective form of energy healing that increases the body’s energy level.
