Have you ever wondered what a CBC is and what your blood count means? Dr. David Ospina, MD - Oncologist and Hematologist at Mountainview Medical - will explain how to make sense of your blood count.


Childbirth Education Classes

CVMC offers ongoing sessions of prenatal education and birthing classes for women starting their 7th and 8th month of pregnancy.  All instructors are certified childbirth instructors.


Run in the Mad Marathon to Raise Funds for CVMC Cancer Patients

Run or walk the full marathon or half marathon, or join a relay team, and raise funds for Branches of Hope, CVMC's fund to support patients undergoing cancer treatment.


Alive! With Song

3rd Wednesday of each month

Central Vermont’s chorus of cancer survivors and caregivers. Anyone who has been affected by cancer and likes to sing or play an instrument can participate in this upbeat group. Alive! meets monthly to share supper, stories and songs.


Belly Casting for Mothers-to-Be

Mothers-to-be have celebrated their pregnancies with belly casts made at CVMC for the past few years. We invite mothers to work with local artists to transform simple white plaster casts into lasting works of art.


Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshop

Healing Art and Writing

In this two-hour drop-in session, we’ll explore art and writing that reduce stress. Using simple exercises, we will write, draw, and share stories that carry us through the challenges of healing. No writing or art experience necessary!

Free workshop led by trained cosmetologists volunteering for the American Cancer Society.  Get help with cosmetics, skin care, and head covering options; take home a wonderful goodie bag of cosmetics and more! 


Prenatal Yoga

Thursday evenings, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

In a supportive and nurturing environment we will use breath, yoga poses and gentle stretches to feel at home in your changing body and prepare for the birth and beyond.
