As a cancer patient at CVMC, you can expect that your care takes place in a collaborative environment, in which your surgeon, medical oncologist and radiation oncologist consult each other on a regular basis, and coordinate your care to ensure that you receive the best and most appropriate treatment plan possible.
This collaborative environment is further enhanced through bi-monthly meetings in which our entire oncology staff comes together to discuss patient treatment plans as well as advancements in cancer care.
We believe that the well-being of the whole patient—mind and body—plays an extremely important role during and after treatment.
